My workshop is specialised in the restoration of antique timepieces

After several years trade experience both in Britain and Switzerland I took over this workshop in May 1998. At the age of 80 my predecessor Mr. Hermann Schudel decided it was time to retire and generously allowed me to succeed him. 

The workshop is located right in the center of Basel, near the Barfüsserplatz and is easely accessible by public transport or by car. The workshop has no shop but is in the 3rd floor of the building (Elevator available). Map here.

The workshop is equiped with all the instruments and machines which are needed in order to repare antique watches. Missing parts can be reconstructed. Lost wheels for instance can be replaced by the wheel-milling-machine.
